Frequently Asked Questions

Creating orders on the website.

It is always a good idea to login when creating an order - even if you don't intend to finalise it until another time. The next time you login your saved order will be available for you to add to or delete items from. (The website uses session cookies to keep track of your order, these are only valid while your computer is on.  When you shut down your computer the order will be lost unless you have logged in to your account and the website system has saved the order.)

If you haven't signed up for a free account on the website yet, you just need to click the 'Create an Account' link which will walk you through the process.  We hold your name and address details for deliveries but we do not hold your credit card or bank account details, instead we use a credit card processor - Paymate - who have a very stringent security system (far better than we could ever provide).   At the end of the ordering process you will be sent an email with your order details and our account details so that you can either use internet banking, deposit at the local branch of the National Bank or pay by Visa or Mastercard through the Paymate system.

Make a note of the username and password you use and that's it, you can go shopping.

Permanent Cart - Any products added to your online cart remain there until you remove them, or check them out.

Address Book - We can now deliver your products to another address other than yours! This is perfect to send gifts direct to the person themselves.  Please put a note in the comment section or we'll send the invoice as well (not a good look for a present).

Order History - View your history of purchases that you have made with us.

Q:  Do you have a shop we can visit?

A: No.  We work from home and do not the the facilities for shoppers.  If you are unhappy with a purchase we are always willing to find a solution.

Q: After you receive payment, when can I expect my purchase to be sent?

A:  We generally have your goods packed the day we receive the order.  We check the bank account first thing in the morning and your parcel will be on the way the same day. It is important that you put your name or order number in the bank reference so that there is no chance we can miss the payment.  We also send an email to let you know the Courier Post Trackpac number so that you can follow the progress.  Please remember that sometimes parcels aren't picked up until the afternoon.

Q:  Is there a minimum purchase amount?

A:  Yes we prefer a minimum of $20 as our site is geared to charging for a courier pack - any less and the cost becomes too high for our customers.

Q: Do you post overseas?

A:  Yes, but please send an enquiry first.  We do have a Paypal account which can be used for overseas buyers.
